So, who are you?

My name is Stuart, I’m 25 & live in Melbourne, Australia. I’ve been in the Online Marketing Industry for over 5 years & I love SEO, Affiliate Marketing & anything else Search Marketing Related. I originally lived in Ireland & emigrated out to Australia in 2005.

What do you work as?

I originally started working on my own projects & projects for friends. I really think that in order to get ahead in this game you MUST be working on your own stuff. It’s like trying to fix a car engine by reading a book, unless you have the practical experience you’ll just never get it right.

Since arriving in Melbourne I worked for the SEO team at Hitwise, this gave me a great insight into how SEO is handled in a corporate environment. I left Hitwise in July & I currently head the SEO & Online Marketing Department at a small Ecommerce company in Richmond, Melbourne. I spend most of my day Managing PPC, SEO, Affiliates & thinking of creative ways to generate more revenue

Why don’t you do Affiliate Marketing full time?

I love the balance of doing a real job & affiliate marketing. Here’s a tip though, you can pay someone to manage your Affiliate Marketing. You can’t pay someone to go into work for you.

How much money do you make?

I don’t like to talk about earnings (but it’s more than 6 & less than 7 figures), last thing I’d want is people reading my blog just because I have a fat CJ Cheque or something

Why are you Blogging?

When I started out in the Internet Marketing space, things were quite confusing. I didn’t have any clear defined places that had a good array of information that could give me the stepping stones I needed. Information that would make me go:

Earners Blog tries to take the confusing partout of it, by providing a varying range of techniques & information to everyone as well as breaking the mould now & again with borderline & advanced tactics.

Are you in this for the Money?

Of course I’m in Affiliate Marketing for the money, my direct input helps fuel my output when payday comes. But Earners Blog itself is not around to generate revenue. You could put half the energy I put into this blog & create something that makes you x10. It’s all about being creative.

Why should I read your Blog?

I’m not saying you should read this blog for any reason at all. I want you to read this blog if it interests you, don’t believe the hype. Most blogs are all about the hype. Even the ones that don’t contain good, useful, digestible information are still read because they have so many readers already. I’m not trying to be famous, just doing my thing & I hope you like it.
