Apple Iphone Traffic Surge: Forthcoming Technology Optimization

I’m definitely the sort of person to preach about getting on new niches & technologies early as one day it’ll pay off.

Well today marked the official unveiling of the Apple Iphone.

You can see the beautiful picture in all its glory.

Now you’re probably wondering why I’m talking about the Iphone. Maybe it’s to get traffic? No, but I will show you something fascinating that I saw earlier today.

Check out the Apple Iphone Concept Blog, these guys have been talking about the Iphone for a number of months (around 3). Now they rank a tidy Number 1 in Google for all sorts of strings:

Now lets have a look at what’s happened to their traffic over the past 2 days since the Iphone was announced:

Traffic to the site increased 17x in the space of 24 hours. This could mainly be due to Digg giving Apple over 32,000 diggs in the last 24 hours:

However none of these stories actually go directly to the Apple Ipod Concept Site. The Hype alone has created a HUGE amount of interest.

You can make an absolute killing by making simple sites revolving around upcoming technologies, this is perfect example of it done properly. Adsense integration is good, layout is good. I’m sure this guy got a nice shock when he checked his Adsense yesterday morning
