2 Easy Authoritative Links that will Boost your Rankings
29. Nov 2006 | 3 Comments
Here’s a quick tip that I use with a number of my sites to boost rankings & also help with indexation.
You can pick up easy links from either Squidoo or Wikipedia as long as you are tactful in your approach.
Squidoo: Sign up, create some lenses around your topic & simply add your links with relevant anchor text. Then put a link to squidoo on one of your other sites to get the page indexed. Once it’s indexed by Google you’ll get some link love
Wikipedia: Try & find a page that’s related to your site but not too popular, the higher the Page Rank the better. Simply add the link to your site in the External Links section. Quite often you’ll get caught out & the link will be deleted, but if they deem it relevant enough it’ll stay in.
I get 200+ Uniques per day to one of my sites through various Wikipedia links, so it’s definitely worth looking into.

Hey just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia is using nofollow now on ALL external links according to their Wikipedia SEO article. Check it out.
Its a good idea, But it should be relevant to wikipedia, else it will get deleted for sure:)

Both good sites and links. Be careful with Wikipedia you don’t do too many too fast. The URL will get banned.
