Clickbank Tracking Problem Fixed
06. May 2007 | 3 Comments
A while ago I reported on the death of Clickbank & how they were getting their cookies nuked by Ie7 & Spybot.
With many affiliates jumping ship & moving to CPA Offers like Azoogleads something had to be done to rectify the problem.
As of last week Clickbank has implemented IP Based Tracking on Hoplinks, something that the affiliate industry has been using for about 4 years. This now means that sale tracking is almost 99% accurate even for people who have cookies disabled or blacklisted.
I have a good number of old Clickbank style sites that earn me a nice residual income, however I’ve noticed a 300% increase in sales since the start of May, which is promising. But what about the sales lost due to poor tracking (We’re talking $1,000’s)?
You can read a bit more about the new system over at Ewealth, they have quite a good Clickbank forum with some knowledgable affiliates.

Sorry for the comment abuse, but I just want to mention how ugly the Auctionads bar looks in that prime spot. Put the recent posts back there.
