Digg This Reloaded: Integrating Digg Into WordPress
20. Nov 2006 | 8 Comments
Digg This Reloaded is a nifty WordPress Plugin that helps you integrate your blog more with the Popular Social Networking Site, Digg.
This version of the plugin works seamlessly without even having to change any templates or modify any code.
It will place a small Digg Icon at the bottom of every post which when clicked will allow the user to Submit your story to Digg.
Once it detects that your story has been submitted it then changes into the icon the right showing how many Diggs the post has accumulated. This kind of auto detection has not worked in other versions of similar plugins. However it works perfectly with Digg This Reloaded.
The advantages of a plugin like this are:
- Make it quick & easy for people to Digg your Posts
- If someone visits your site via Digg they can Digg the post from the Button rather than having to go back to Digg.
- It can increase your chances of making it to the front page of Digg
The plugin is free & can be downloaded here:
Download Digg This | Visit Developers Site
Rumor has it that the plugin will also accommodate Del.icio.us soon aswell.

AddThis from AddThis.com works well, is easy to integrate for Digg, and includes about 40 other sites too.
