As noted in another thread regarding the new cPanel resource alerts, there’s a bad bot making the rounds out there probing for vulnerablities and triggering long-duration SQL queries in some cases. If nothing else, you’ll be seeing big accumultations of resource alerts if nothing is done to block the so-called "Casper Bot Exploit" on your site.More details available here.
