I’ve been with godaddy for 2 years signed up for 3rd year, but accidentally created new account instead of renewal. Tried canceling and reordering but Godaddy refuses to honor originally quoted price & coupon (a difference of $1.30).

Well the cheap b*stards should’ve paid up cause I’m canceling and now they get nothing!

Luckily this couldn’t have happened at a better time, I got in on Hostgator’s black friday sale (75% off). I got 3 years of better service for less than 1 year from godaddy.

Anyway I just want to warn anyone thinking of going with godaddy that the lack of service just aint worth it. I had heard complaints saying as much before I signed up but thought that I’d never deal with customer service as I’m not a big complainer (in 2 years I’ve contacted godaddy exactly 1 time when site was down for over an hour, which by the way they never replied to). So even if you think you can do without toll-free support, please think long and hard before signing up with godaddy!
