Post Reply? I have a download script ran from a .bat file which downloads my websites database backups and then moves them to a folder. Code at bottom All the files are named as such mysql-month-year-hour so mysql-01-11-08-00 mysql-07-12-08-05 Is there a way of getting the date part of the file name, and moving them to a folder with the same name, and if the folder doesn’t exist, create it? So it downloads file mysql-01-11-08-00 checks to see if there is a folder named 01-11-08, if it exists then move it to there, if it doesn’t exist create the folder then move the file Currently i have 1000+ backups all in a single folder and its getting hard to locate a certain one In reply to: ftp -i -s:ftp.txt MOVE mysql-* “C:UsersDesbrinaDocumentsWeb SitesDatabase Backupsmysql”
