Do your support staff work at the datacenter, or remotely?

Yes, we have techs on staff at the datacenter 24/7/365.

What is your average monthly uptime percentage (i.e. 99.9%)?

How do you communicate downtime, outages & hardware issues with your customers?

If there is a planned outage we email our customers at least 48 hours ahead of time, usually 5 days in advance. If there is an emergency outage we notify our customers via our network status forum page. We also post to webhostingtalk.com usually.

How well do you handle Traffic Spikes (i.e. Digg.com)?

We offer 10, 20, 50, 100 and 1000Mbps unmetered bandwidth on every server to accommodate the highest of traffic spikes.

Do you have measures to accomodate this or do you make the site unavailable?

We don’t ever shut a server or site down unless the traffic is suspected to be an attack.

What measures do you have in place to help users scale their hosting needs with demand?

We offer VPS and many levels of dedicated servers for customers growing needs. We also have many levels of bandwidth available to our customers as their sites gain traffic over time.

On a Shared Node or VPS Node how many users do you tend to allow?

There are too many variables to give a specific answer on that for shared nodes. It all depends on server resources. On our VPS servers we typically put 15 VPS per server.

Some hosts offer Burst RAM & others prefer just to offer Guaranteed. Which solution do you offer & why?

We offer guaranteed hardware resources and bandwidth.
