HostICan is situated in Equinix’s Datacenter in Northern Virginia.

What is your average support ticket response time?

Average response time of support team, 45 minutes.

Do your support staff work at the datacenter, or remotely?

Small team is presented in our datacenter, in order to serve our hardware equipment. Overall we are working from our office.

What is your average monthly uptime percentage (i.e. 99.9%)?

Uptime 99.9%

How do you communicate downtime, outages & hardware issues with your customers?

We use helpdesk, live chats and phone.

How well do you handle Traffic Spikes (i.e. Digg.com)? Do you have measures to accommodate this or do you make the site unavailable?

It depends on situation. We want everyone to be happy, so as first step we will try to find solution.

What measures do you have in place to help users scale their hosting needs with demand?

Actually we do not provide measures, however we would be glad to provide suggestion depending on user requirements.

On a Shared Node or VPS Node how many users do you tend to allow?

Shared node 150 - 250 accounts, VPS node - no more than 20 accounts.

Some hosts offer Burst RAM & others prefer just to offer Guaranteed. Which solution do you offer & why?
