1. Where to do this?
2. How to create a URL like this www.mydomain.com/blog

I want to install a Wordpress blog into that blog directory.

What happens to the root domain mydomain.com ? Can I choose to keep it with or without wordpress? And how?

Which is better a subdomain or a subdirectory? A subdomain seems to be easier to use.
