Hello.

I was looking for a mid-high-end dedicated server to host a website. I need it fast.

I reviewed a lot of offers, read reviews here and there… then I selected iWeb. Everything was very promising.

But…

I selected a 1hr setup setup server at $139 including Plesk (a $20 bonus).
I placed my order yesterday as they opened their office, while on chat with a sales manager, so I got the phone verification immediately. I immediately sent out the singed contract too… Something went wrong, as the contract says $159… considereing Plesk as paid option.

"Don’t worry" they said "They will invoice you for $159 but rebate for $20, so you just pay $139". Ok. Let’s trust.

After few hours the $139 invoice arrives. Ok.

Evening comes… no server yet.

The night pass… no server yet.

Mid morning… hey where’s my server??

Wow, pretty cool service this 1hr setup.

Surprise, I got another email from the billing dept.
No explanation.
Just a $20 invoice, without ANY desctiption.
Just: PAID $20 on you credit card.

The office opens. On chat, nobody knows what’s up with my account.

Just contact them again after a couple of hrs…

They send me a welcome email for my server but the server is not online and even in my account dashboard, seems that I have ZERO products listed.

Results of my first experience at iWeb:
1) +30 hr for a 1hr setup server that is not ready yet
2) wrong invoicing
3) charged for something that should be free
4) inconsistent support

I don’t know what your experiences are with those people, but I’m going to ask for a complete refund in 2 hrs.
