My 7 year review with hostgator.

I feel most of the time no matter where we host our applications and code, there will be moments of frustration. I use hostgator for shared hosting and other companies for dedicated and managed hosting.

Hostgator is an older company with great reputation. In my experience hostgator served my needs in high respect. Their support when using it, is fairly fast and gets the problem fixed within a reasonable time frame.

As a long time hoster with many companies, I feel it is my duty to report hostgator is a great place to host. Time to time they have problems as hardware does wear out and sometimes datacenters have problems. Even though I see my site down at time, I know and believe in hostgator already knows about it and is fixing it.

This goes for other companies too. Patience is a great tool to have when working with hosting companies. Computers don’t fix themselves and need professionals like hostgator to fix em. sometimes I feel we all miss this thought when dealing with issues. You might have a few clients, but hostgator has many more they work for. Patients and sometimes not worring at all is the best option and not, jumping to a support issue, 99.9 percent of the time hostgator already knows.

I would recomend hostgator to other looking for hosting. Giving them 5 stars out of 5 stars is an excellent review.
