Hi, I’m trying to install the latest version of Bugzilla (upgrading an existing working installation) but I´m having problems with one of the Perl modules, specifically the DateTime module. After I run Code: install-module.pl DateTime there is an error during installation Code: Can’t locate Module/Build.pm in @INC The full text is as follows: Code: CPAN.pm: Going to build D/DR/DROLSKY/DateTime-0.55.tar.gz Checking if your kit is complete… Looks good Writing Makefile for DateTime cp lib/DateTime.xs blib/lib/DateTime.xs cp lib/DateTime.pm blib/lib/DateTime.pm cp lib/DateTimePP.pm blib/lib/DateTimePP.pm cp lib/DateTime/Duration.pm blib/lib/DateTime/Duration.pm cp lib/DateTime/Helpers.pm blib/lib/DateTime/Helpers.pm cp lib/DateTimePPExtra.pm blib/lib/DateTimePPExtra.pm cp lib/DateTime/Infinite.pm blib/lib/DateTime/Infinite.pm cp lib/DateTime/LeapSecond.pm blib/lib/DateTime/LeapSecond.pm Manifying blib/man3/DateTime.3pm Manifying blib/man3/DateTime::Helpers.3pm Manifying blib/man3/DateTime::Duration.3pm Manifying blib/man3/DateTime::Infinite.3pm Manifying blib/man3/DateTime::LeapSecond.3pm /usr/bin/perl “-Iblib/arch” “-Iblib/lib” Build.PL Build Can’t locate Module/Build.pm in @INC (@INC contains: blib/arch blib/lib /home/.pipkin/xx/xxx/bugzilla/lib/i386-linux-thread-multi /home/.pipkin/xx/xxx/bugzilla/lib /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.4 /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.4 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.8 /usr/share/perl/5.8 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at Build.PL line 6. BEGIN failed–compilation aborted at Build.PL line 6. make: *** [Build] Error 2 /usr/bin/make – NOT OK Running make test Can’t test without successful make Running make install make had returned bad status, install seems impossible I just wondered how to go about fixing this problem? The install seems to be failing looking for Build.pm.
