Hey everyone!

I’m about to buy shared Web Hosting from HG, but wonder about which restrictions may apply in practice.

1. Are there any Upload restrictions concerning file-size? I think I’ve read about 60 mb for PHP upload, but FTP should be limitless?

2. Is the Baby plan, which comes without Anonymous FTP, allows to setup kind of a "Guest" FTP account to allow users to upload into specific directories?

3. Can access and filesize restrictions be put on FTP directories for certain FTP users?

4. I am sharing music projects with my bandmate over FTP. When a full song-set has to be uploaded it may reach upto 1 GB even when compressed. Usually it will be uploaded only once and downloaded between 1 to 4 times. Will this get me into trouble with HG even when "unlimited" space and bandwidth is advertised?

5. Is it possible to change the "Primary Domain" at a later point, especially if you are using a Business Plan with dedicated IP and SSL?

6. Last but not least: What happens with your prepaid money (like when you buy a 3 year plan) if you stepup from a shared plan to a reseller or dedicated server plan?
