I have used a Rackspace Managed server for about 8 years. My uptime has approached 99% and have never had any downtime due to their network. Only downtime I have had has been on the RARE occasion my server hung up or when I have had a patch installed that required a reboot. Support is great. I suspect they do triage on trouble tickets though. If I put in a fairly non-critical ticket it can take awhile for a response. Anything critical is handled right away. This is fine with me.
They are not the cheapest but I host nearly 200 domains and when the cost is divided between them, it is very reasonable on a per-domain basis. Highly Recommend them.
