I’m currently on a VPS but I think I’m paying too much for what I need and am wondering if a shared environment would suit my web needs. I don’t need full control of my server whatsoever as long as php, phpmyadmin, and mysql are all up to date.

My site that I run on the VPS gets about 500,000 page views a month and consumes about 30-40 gigs a month of bandwidth… and about 300,000 hits. I only use about 10 gigs of space at the maximum but if I move to a shared host, I can use about 3-5 gigs. I use 5 MySQL databases.

I also use the server for development purposes with other projects and host a few more small sites. Any recommendations much appreciated! UPDATE: I’m looking to pay about $100-150 a year max. Right now, I’m paying about $500.
