I have had a dedicated server for nearly 10 years now. In that time frame I have only been with 3 companies prior to moving to Server Beach. The first company was a one man band and was pretty good… until he sold out at which point in time the service went downhill fast. The second company was a nightmare from the start and I left within a month. The third company I stayed with for about 7 years, until they traded hands and once again the service fell apart. I would have rather stayed and not faced the hassle of moving the sites but the song and dance became too old and familiar.

I don’t like change and was very nervous about dealing with a new company so I spent over a month researching several possible choices. I was in no rush and kept everything running on the old server even after I had this one up and running just as a backup.

I decided to give Server Beach a shot. It’s been a couple of months now and I am extremely happy with both my new server and their service. The beginning was a little rough since I was moving from one platform to another. I’m far from a guru, honestly I know the basics and was pretty secure with the previous server but this new one was a whole new learning curve for me.

I’m not going to single out people and name names but Server Beach has some pretty top notch employees. They offer self administered servers, but were right on top of the problems I had transferring the sites and were either able to tell me how to fix them, or direct me to someone who could help me. In essence they bent over backwards to make me happy.

If things go as I hope they will, I will never have to speak to them again :~). But it is reassuring to know they are there if I do need assistance.

Like I said change is not my forte’ and it appears I have found a new home for my sites that will last many years to come.

Oh, and the price is great.

I think the thing that hooked me was their knowledgeable sales staff. During the couple of times I used their instant chat they seemed to be up front and honest rather than slinging BS. The few questions I asked that they did not know the answer to they told me so and got back to me via email.

I personally find it dishonest when people refer others for a bonus of some sort and wonder would they if they didn’t get spiffed? I’m just really happy with their service and feel others may benefit from my experience.
