I have some friends that have a company, and they are looking for a place to host HD quality video for streaming. I honestly only know a little about servers, but am normally the tech guy for them.

They would prefer to use Red5, but FMS is acceptable. I was curious about cloud servers and how their performance is with streaming video. They expect probably 100 people streaming at once, but would like to plan for being able to handle at least 1000 or more in case of a lot of attention.

I am interested in pretty much anything you provide me with, articles, blogs, personal experience, professional expertise, and suggestions of hosting companies.
