It seems that everytime I post to this particular forum, I am thanking someone for pulling my butt out of the fire. This time a big thank you goes to the Network Security team, in particular, Michael Karr. I got a strange email yesterday morning telling me one of my clients had changed the password to their wordpress site.Thats strange I thought. I checked the site and to my disappointment, the site had been hacked.I got online with hostgator chat and was instructed to contact Security immediately. Well, I figured I was in for a long day rebuilding a client site, but after 6 or 7 emails from Michael, and about 30 minutes work from me, the site was back up in about 3 hours and the client doesn’t even know it was down.Michael even re-set my password for me when I couldn’t figure out how to do it. Now folks, thats service! and on a Saturday morning! Thank you Michael, and thank you Hostgator, I hope you have more like Michael around the next time I need help.
