i have been a customer of downtownhost for about 15 months. overall i love how fast and responsive their servers are compared to my previous company. i also have had pretty good luck getting support, many times in under 10 minutes. they are a company that i have recommended to my clients and colleagues. several use them as hosts as a result. however…

this past week has been rather difficult. and to add insult to injury i am having a dickens of a time getting in touch with them to address the problems i am having.

currently the uptime for my domain is below 93% for march and below 98.4% for the year. i’ve tried to submit support tickets to see what is being done, but they are either not showing up in the system or being deleted. i have sent an email to their support address and again a number and confirmation email is sent but not reflected in the ticket tracker. since the online support doesn’t appear to be working, i called this morning and the ticket they created never showed up in the system. a request in the past to change servers was closed and not responded to, either.

since jedito is a very active participant of this board, i am trying to reach him (or another dth support representative) since the other channels of communication are either not working or they are choosing not to respond. i need to have this situation resolved quickly because i am bidding on some development work and need my potential client to see our functioning websites.

thanks for any and all help this community can provide. if i need to verify my domain in any way, please let me know how best to do so.
