Hello,

I decided to give some insight into new UK2Group brand, VPS.Net Cloud VPS hosting.

The service is still in BETA at the moment, if you’d like to give it a try jump over to their community/forums, and with a quick poem you might get in to a team of BETA testers

I’ll start with web management interface,

There’s a overview of created VPS accounts and assigned/unsigned nodes to your VPS.net account. Basically you assign as many nodes as you want (pricing is per node) and then use these assigned nodes to provision VPS accounts.

You get Dedicated CPU: 200MHz // 256MB RAM // 10GB Disk // 200GB traffic/month // per node assigned.

VPS account have access to all 8 cores of Xeon cpu.

Then there’s a VPS provision page, where you assign amount of nodes per VPS.

After that VPS setup is matter of minutes, and you’re ready to go.
Every VPS have own management page, where you can perform some basic actions such as shutdown/reboot/power… there is also "Edit VPS" option where you can assign or de-assign nodes to VPS, certain graphs (CPU Usage, Network usage), and a Console access (this is a really nice touch, you basically get access to VPS screen like with KVM, so if your vps lose network conectivity you can access it by this and fix the issues)

Every VPS have ability to burst upto 1Gbit of bandwidth.

There are also backups, so far only basic settings, daily, weekly, montly. (Off site backups are not supported yet).

At the moment only UK Cloud is in motion, US Cloud is expected aswell.

I would describe VPS.Net as something pretty unique, which gives your VPS very powerful performance, flexibility and speed of provision/upgrade, stability/uptime and good network.

In other words i highly recommend VPS.Net Cloud to everyone.
