I am planning on creating a web site soon and pretty much have zero experience creating a site. My website is for business but it will not need a shopping cart as I will not be selling any items. It is for consulting.

Considering that I have no experience, is there a web host/site builder that you could recommend? I know that on some of them such as Host Gator you can actually demo the site builder but unfortunately not all hosts offer a demo that you can try out in advance. The site will be pretty basic, most important feature for me is form mail and preferably one that is easy/simple to install. I’m looking to spend $5-7/month. Also, should I register the domain in advance with a different company or is it ok to register with whoever I end up hosting with? I have seen different opinions and am still unsure.
