website loading problems

I have recently taken over a site for someone. the old host still has control of the domains but they now point to my nameservers. The site will load sometimes but will sometimes randomly stop working wherever the domain is entered as http://www.domain.tld but works whenever entered like this http://domain.tld this happens randomly at different times during the day. when this happens their emails also go down even though they login through webmail.ifusionhosting.co.uk Does anyonwe have any idea as to what could be causing this? when they first reported the problem i setup up a hyperspin account http://www.hyperspin.com/publicreport/83482/62572 which shows 100% uptime since it setup. this is why i cannot understand or figure out what the problem. the 100% uptime and the fact that all my other sites are fine leads me believe that it is a problem with the domains but I am really not sure.

Any help would be much appreciated.
