The Affiliate Cash Vault Con

03. Oct 2006 | 6 Comments

2 Weeks ago I wrote about Scam Ebooks & how you should try & avoid the temptation of buying them at all costs. I checked out one of the websites for the main culprit, Affiliate Cash Vault.

A while ago the site was being maintained by Patrick Lanoux, now all of a sudden the name has changed to Michael Lanoue. Witness Protection Program?

Secondly, if you look closely at the picture below it shows the amount of money “Michael” is making from the techniques used in the book. However many people fail to notice that the stats posted are from the actual SALES the ebook has made. You can see the two columns I’ve circled, when he makes $9.95 that’s an affiliate who’s sold the book for him. When he makes $35.95 that’s when someone has come to the Affiliate Cash Vault site & bought directly from it.

Affiliate Cash Vault Earnings

All seems a bit strange to me, either that or the system doesn’t actually work so he has to post the earnings from the book sales to look good. Professional.

What I’m guessing is that the original owner of Affiliate Cash Vault has sold it off to someone else who has marketed it under a new name (due to dwindling purchases & increasing number of refunds as shoppers become wiser).

I was thinking about purchasing this book but you’ve put me right off it now! Good work.

I purchased the ebook Affiliate Cash Vault system before finding your site. I tried to use their Top Ten Webpage with the Google Adwords. To be able to activate the adwords requires too high a price to be profitable. The program advertised cost me the Ebook cost plus $79.00 at Google with no money earned. I have been trying to obtain a refund for weeks and get no replys. I wish I had seen your web site first.

Hi Calvin, did you buy it from Clickbank or from 2Checkout?

You should be able to get in touch with them to get a refund :)

The reason people are attracted to these ebooks is to make the thousands of dollars that the book says they can but in reality what you will learn are ins and outs of internet and affiliate marketing and a few ways that particular author made money online.
