Reviewme, A new Revenue Stream for Bloggers

Reviewme The guys over at Textlinkads have launched a brand new service that aims to allow advertisers to pay bloggers to blog about their products & services.

The announced come only days after Textlinkads announced they had been acquired by Mediawhiz.

So how does Reviewme work?

The concept is simple, you sign up to their service & submit your blog(s) for review. Reviewme uses a clever algorithm to determine whether or not your site meets the minimum requirements (based on alexa, technorati links & page rank). If your application is successful you will then be able to take on jobs from advertisers.

Advertisers will pay you to write a post on your blog about their service or product, you can choose to accept or deny offers. You are paid depending on how popular your blog is, this can range anywhere between $20 to $200+.

You must disclose that your post is a paid advertisement or a paid review, this is something that other programs like Payperpost don’t. I personally think that this is a good thing & should be welcomed by most bloggers who use the service.

If you are an advertiser you can pay people to post about your product or service, however you cannot require from the blogger that they write a positive review. This is another good feature about the service, taking away any of the bias towards advertisers.

And last, but not least, to get you started Reviewme has a pool of $25,000 that it’s giving away for you to write about the service. So why not head on over, sign up & start earning
